03Anchoring
What is under your deck decides the job.
A pool lift is a counterweighted machine, so it has to be anchored into concrete to be safe. That makes your deck the first question rather than the last one.
We establish which of these you have at the deck assessment, so the recommendation and the price already account for it.
Pavers over concrete
The most common Florida deck. Pavers are lifted, the anchor is set into the existing base, and the pavers go back.
Existing concrete slab
Assessed for depth and condition against the manufacturer's anchoring requirement for the model you choose.
Pavers over sand or shell
There is nothing solid to hold the counterweight. A concrete pad is poured and cured before the lift is installed.
No deck at the entry point
We design and pour a pad sized to the lift and to the way the pool is actually entered.
04Timing
Most installations take a day.
If new concrete has to be poured first, add about a week for it to cure before we anchor the lift. Lead time for the lift itself depends on the model and is confirmed in your written recommendation.

Will a pool lift work at my pool?
In most cases, yes. The right model depends on the type of pool, the height of any wall or curb at the edge, and what the lift can be anchored into. The consultation and deck assessment answer all three.
Compare the liftsWhat does it cost?
It depends on the model and on whether new concrete is needed. After the deck assessment you get a written recommendation with the price, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay.
How long does installation take?
Most installations take a day. If new concrete has to be poured first, add about a week for it to cure before we anchor the lift.
Why does a lift need concrete underneath?
A pool lift is a counterweighted machine that lifts a person over water. It has to be anchored into concrete to be safe, which is why we check what is under your deck before recommending anything.
Can the lift be moved or stored?
Portable models can. They lock to a fixed anchor on the deck while in use, then roll away between swims. Permanent models stay in place.
