02Our story

More than 30 years in accessibility. One focus.

Vince Scruci has worked in accessibility for more than three decades. In 2017 he left the corporate side of durable medical equipment to start Ramps Plus, working directly with Florida families on home accessibility and pool lifts.

Aquability narrows that work to one thing: getting people back into the water. The same family team selects the lift, assesses the deck, pours the concrete where it is needed, installs the lift and walks you through it. One team, and one number to call.

04How we work

Four things you can expect from us.

01

Precise

Model numbers, anchor depths, cure times. In a trade where mistakes are physical, specifics are how trust is earned.

02

Warm

Behind every call is a person whose relationship with their own pool has changed. We start with that, and the hardware comes second.

03

Unhurried

No countdowns and no pressure. Choosing a pool lift is a considered decision, and we treat it like one.

04

Straight

Plain answers, including the unwelcome ones, like "your deck needs concrete first". Saying no is part of the service.

05Who we work with

Homes, facilities, and the people who refer them.

Homeowners and families

Ageing in place, recovery after surgery, a change in mobility. Often the first call comes from a spouse or an adult child, and we are glad to talk with either.

Commercial pools

Homeowners associations, condominium boards, hotels, rehabilitation clinics and municipal pools that need specification, lead time and paperwork up front.

Therapists, case managers and builders

Physical and occupational therapists, case managers, pool builders and general contractors. If you refer clients to us, we keep you in the loop.
